Physical Therapist

Department Description:   Orthopedic Associates maintains commitment to hiring and retaining the brightest minds in the industry so that we may provide outpatient rehabilitation services that truly impact people's lives.  We strive to create balance between work and family and offer flexible schedules with a manageable case load.
 
Our energetic, professional environment and dynamic culture operates under a team-oriented structure where the focus is on quality of care.  Our orthopedic caseload, which emphasizes manual therapy and sports medicine, will allow you to focus your efforts on continued professional growth and improving quality of care.   
 
 
Job Summary:  Evaluates and plans treatment programs, administers and directs therapy for patients.  Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan.  Demonstrates the skills necessary for evaluating, interpreting age-specific needs and provides appropriate treatment.  Acts under a physician's prescription with regular consultations with the physician regarding treatment.

Qualifications

Required: 
License or eligibility for license in the State of Michigan
Displays observational, analytical and creative skills to effectively complete job responsibilities
Displays interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients and all team members
Uses good judgment to act responsibly and independently
Possesses physical capabilities necessary to complete job duties
 
Shift:
40 hours per week.  Monday through Friday.  12:00 - 8:00 p.m.
