Dr. Kreis received his medical education from the University of Michigan Medical School. His residency training in orthopedics was completed at University of Michigan affiliated hospitals. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Kreis, a native of St. Clair Shores, has been practicing orthopedics in Port Huron since 1976. His areas of special interest include arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine.
