Hand Surgeon

Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Dr. Heithoff is an orthopedic doctor who specializes in hand surgery. He joined Orthopedic Associates of Port Huron in 1988.

After completing his Bachelor of Science degree at The University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, Dr. Heithoff received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. He then completed internship training at Normandy Osteopathic Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, and an orthopedic surgery residency at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan. Following residency training, Dr. Heithoff received advanced fellowship training in hand surgery at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Heithoff is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery, with a certificate of added qualification in hand surgery.

When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Heithoff enjoys participating in family activities, playing basketball, golfing, running and participating in triathlons, kiteboarding, snowboarding, and traveling.
