Remarkable distinction based on employee feedback and satisfaction
PORT HURON, Mich. (Nov. 19, 2012) – Orthopedic Associates of Port Huron has been selected as one of the Detroit Free Press Top 100 Workplaces of 2012. The Top 100 Workplaces in and surrounding Detroit are determined solely by employee feedback. The survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.
“From the beginning, we’ve had a standard that every person who works at Orthopedic Associates, from the basic employee to the orthopedic surgeon, treats every person they encounter in this practice how they would like to be treated,” explains Dr. Wilmont R. Kreis, sports medicine doctor at Orthopedic Associates of Port Huron. “We also believe we should have a little fun every day, as we’ve found that happy people produce much better results.”
Since 1983, the physicians and staff of Orthopedic Associates of Port Huron have served patients in the Port Huron area, as well as patients from across the Blue Water area, from Algonac to Port Austin, with the goal of helping patients overcome pain and injury and return to an active lifestyle. The 10 physicians, two physician assistants, five physical therapists and numerous supporting staff members all contribute to the positive atmosphere of the practice.
